Service Description
In these uncertain times, knowledge is invaluable. This in-person two day course teaches participants topics ranging from basic first aid to medical care within hostile environments. The first day focuses and certifies students on delivering CPR/AED and First Aid care through the Heartsaver program created by the American Heart Association (AHA). The second day covers topics from family and personal preparation techniques and considerations to hands on practical training on how to treat massive hemorrhage in adverse conditions (criteria heavily influenced by programs like NREMT TECC) . Students will leave this course feeling more capable and knowledgeable on how to take care of themselves, loved ones and community regardless of societal conditions. Note to Participants: Students are highly encouraged to bring note-taking materials to the course.
